Simplicity fused with beautiful craftsmanship
Timeless kitchens are fantastic for creating a living space to transcend seasonal trends – and this design is a perfect example.
“Guests are gobsmacked when they see the incredible transformation.
I love every aspect of my kitchen.”
Simple, elegant and homely are words that describe this kitchen perfectly, offering a style that stands the test of time - not too traditional, nor too modern.
With a subtle and classy feel to their property, Diane and John Houghton knew they wanted a simple, yet striking design that fitted in perfectly with their other rooms.
They were absolutely thrilled with the end result, but they were equally impressed with the dedication and enthusiasm Kitchen Design Centre brought to the project.
After seeing Kitchen Design Centre’s gorgeous kitchen displays at Housing Units in Manchester, Diane was introduced to designer Suzanne.

“Suzanne had an enthusiasm and attitude that I found infectious,” said Diane.
“I knew we would have a great working relationship right from the start - she was so encouraging and helpful when creating our new kitchen.”
They opted for a Painted Shaker Kitchen for its beautiful craftsmanship, simplicity of style and timeless feel.
With its unadorned functionality, arranged to feel clean and spacious, the room’s calm atmosphere envelops the kitchen’s leather black granite surfaces.
Designer Suzanne said: “Although the Shaker Kitchen has an unmistakably traditional feel, it fits easily into a contemporary setting.”
The room includes a mirror behind the cooker to add an extra touch of class.
The new kitchen, which was extended significantly from its original size, is now huge and makes excellent use of space and light.
As with all of Kitchen Design Centre’s designs, the room is filled with all the latest appliances – a Britannia cooker, a Belfast Sink and a range of top quality Neff appliances to make day-to-day living as easy as possible.
The kitchen also includes a boiling water tap, a Quooker, which allows for fast and easy cooking and hot beverage making.
Diane said: “Guests are gobsmacked when they see the incredible transformation. I love every aspect of my kitchen.
“I especially love that everything is so close together and in perfect reach, and the fact there is so much room, yet plenty of cupboard space.
“I’d certainly recommend Kitchen Design Centre to my friends.”
