Ensure you are protected in the January sales

Modern Kitchen - January Sales

The credit crunch and the decline in the housing market has led to more people deciding to stay in their current home and improve rather then move.

Homeowners looking to replace their kitchen with a bargain from the January sales must ensure that their chosen retailer offers financial protection, says Roger Astin Managing Director of Kitchen Design Centre.

Kitchen Design Centre has been established for 25 years and has an enviable reputation for customer service.

“Many of the retailers have significant sales in the New Year, with irresistible 50% off offers,” warns Roger.

“We would urge consumers to take time to make sure that their chosen retailer is a reputable one which provides financial protection and is a member of a nationally recognised association such as the Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association, (KBSA).

“As a member of the KBSA we maintain high standards of design, supply, installation and customer service.”

All KBSA members follow an approved Code of Practice and are subject to strict monitoring to ensure continued professional service.

Roger said: “It is a sad fact that we are going to see more high street kitchen retailers go under in the coming months. Consumers can avoid the heartache of trying to recover their money and complete their installation by choosing wisely.”

The KBSA is a national trade association founded 30 years ago to promote excellence within the interiors industry and champion consumer protection. It now boasts more than 400 members throughout the UK.

KBSA members are dedicated to upholding the association’s high standards of design, supply, installation and customer service throughout the interiors industry.

Like all KBSA members, Kitchen Design Centre offers a ConsumerCare deposit guarantee scheme or a more comprehensive, ConsumerCare Plus insurance backed workmanship warranty and deposit protection scheme.

All members are carefully vetted prior to admission and they must have been trading for at least two years in order to be considered for membership.

They are subject regular monitoring of their businesses to ensure levels of quality are continually maintained.
