They shopped around for the kitchen, visiting lots of different companies but they felt the same with every one: that they didn’t understand what they wanted. This changed when they visited kitchen Design Centre in Woolton and spoke with Showroom Manager Chris Lunt.
They initially wanted a shaker kitchen but this completely changed when they visited the showroom. Within half an hour they knew they wanted to go with Chris and Kitchen Design Centre and knew exactly what they wanted: a contemporary kitchen in various shades of grey.

“I walked out of the showroom and felt that Chris was on my wavelength; he knew exactly what we were looking for. I knew I could trust him to deliver the perfect kitchen. The showroom was amazing; I loved the contemporary displays and knew straight away that this was what I wanted.”
Top of their wish list was an island which Chris prioritised in the design, creating an extra- large one with plenty of room for a hob and casual dining. He also created a stunning dining table to match their worktops.
To tie in with the rest of the house, a grey colour scheme was adopted with Pearl Grey Putty Concrete contrasting with Opal Grey colour options. A Quartz worktop in Calacatta Platinum was also chosen.
As a keen cooks they were keen to have the best appliances and were delighted that Kitchen design Centre were a Master Neff partner. The Neff venting Hob in Black Glass was top of their wish list and they chose a Neff Flex design Single Oven in Black, a Warming Drawer and a Compact Oven with Microwave in Black. Two Neff Built in Fridge Freezers were also chosen together with a Dishwasher and Under Counter Wine Cabinet. For the sink area a Blanco undermount sink in black and matching Side lever Monobloc Mixer Tap were chosen together with a Quooker Pro 3 Flex in Black.
Chris worked with their builder to deliver the project on time and in-line with their schedule. This project management was essential to the couple and they are delighted with how Kitchen Design Centre and their fitters installed the kitchen.
The result is a kitchen that really has the ‘wow’ factor: being visually stunning and practical too.
