When Nick and Sue extended their Bowdon home, they required a company who could provide a turnkey service and manage the project from start to finish. Kitchen Design Centre provided a one stop shop for the couple: handling everything from building work to the kitchen design and installation, flooring and all plumbing and electrical work.
Initially they shopped around but found a national kitchen retailer to be pushy and pestering and a local kitchen company, who charged for designs, to be less than impressive as they failed to listen to what the couple wanted.
This contrasted greatly with Kitchen Design Centre. Visiting the Failsworth showroom Nick and Sue were immediately impressed with designer Roger Astin who took a real interest in what they had to say and what they wanted. They found the showroom to be particularly impressive and gained a great deal of inspiration from the multiple displays.

Roger’s site visit was helpful as they agreed which walls would be removed and how the space would flow. His superior knowledge and experience of handling similar projects was evident and Nick and Sue felt confident that Kitchen Design Centre was the perfect company to see the project through to completion.
Part of the brief was to incorporate their existing American Fridge Freezer. The couple chose Neff ovens, a Neff hob, microwave and dishwasher, a Blanco sink and a Quooker Pro3 Flex tap. The design required a great deal of thought, with Roger creating different elements to the room, embracing the interesting shape and incorporating a strong symmetrical feel throughout.
At one end an impressive entertainment area has been created and to achieve mood and atmosphere, Sensio Quadra lighting was installed. Neutral colours were selected throughout with Lazer Soft Lacquer in taupe grey contrasting cabinets and features and Aspro Quartz worktops.
Because Kitchen Design Centre handled all aspects of the project it ran smoothly, even when it was affected by the Coronavirus pandemic first lockdown. Nick and Sue are delighted with the finished space and the whole Kitchen Design Centre team:
