They initially contacted three kitchen companies but weren’t keen on any of their designs. As soon as they met designer Paul Harrington at kitchen Design Centre’s Manchester Failsworth showroom they knew they’d found the right company. Paul immediately impressed with his ideas and the fact that he grasped exactly what they wanted.
The showroom gave them lots of inspiration, and they chose the units from a kitchen that was on display. The wide choice of displays on show impressed them and they were delighted and reassured with the amazing visual that Paul created of the finished design, especially because he’d worked from architect’s plans.
The couple liked the fact that they could explore various design options. Paul worked up a design showing what an alternative oak coloured finish would look like but the classic combination of black and white worked better.
As keen cooks, Gary and Caroline wanted Neff appliances and were impressed with how neat and tidy the Flex induction hob is and how the extractor works. They chose the Slide and Hide Oven, Compact Oven and Microwave, Neff warming draw and a separate Neff Fridge and Freezer. A Caple wine cooler, Blanco sink and Quooker Pro 3 Flex tap in black completed the range of appliances.
The finished kitchen looks incredible and completes their stunning home.

With a wish list that included an island and a contemporary aesthetic, they gave Paul full creative freedom. They loved a drinks area featured in one of the showroom displays and requested its inclusion, along with lighting beneath the island. Beyond these, they only provided the room measurements, and they were amazed by the design Paul delivered.

As you may know if you’ve visited any of our showrooms in Manchester, Blackburn, Liverpool or Barrowford, we manage more than 250 kitchen projects each year here at Kitchen Design Centre.
