They approached several companies but Kitchen Design Centre was recommended to them by a friend and they felt Will’s design was superior, offering a totally different layout and included lots of ideas that the couple hadn’t originally considered. In particular, they loved the way he added extra work-space. This was high on their wish-list and Will’s inclusion of an area that doubled up as a dining area and worktop works perfectly.
As a keen cook, appliances were important to Sue and she loved the fact she could explore options in the Blackburn showroom. Going from a large range oven to Neff ovens has made cooking far easier as the height suits her so much more. She also finds the Neff induction hob more controllable.
Are you ready to make your dream kitchen a reality?
Both Trevor and Sue were impressed with Kitchen Design Centre’s Blackburn showroom, especially the displays that gave them lots of ideas and inspiration. The wide range of samples also made choosing everything for their kitchen so much easier.
The design ran in to an extension of the kitchen and provided another sink and additional units in the same blue colour. Despite the couple’s apprehension that all blue would be too dark, Will’s inclusion of white Quartz worktops contrasts perfectly with the blue and creates a light, airy feel to the room.
Trevor and Sue are delighted with the new kitchen and Kitchen Design Centre, “Will and Kitchen Design Centre have been brilliant. We can’t praise Will enough. We love our new kitchen. The design is fantastic and the blue colour works really well. The amount of extra storage and workspace we’ve gained has been a real bonus.”
Designer Will Hustler says, “the space created a challenge design wise, especially as Sue wanted so much extra work space. With two large windows, wall space was limited, especially with a breakfast bar on the other side. Adapting this and combining it with a work space was the ideal solution.”

STUNNING TRANSFORMATION
Our clients chose Kitchen Design Centre because they wanted a dedicated expert to lead the way, rather than a mere supplier of parts
They required a team to guide them from the first spark of an idea to the final finishing touches.
The brief presented a unique challenge – transforming a blank-canvas garage into a space that celebrated the charm of a traditional barn conversion. The room, featuring expansive wooden beams, demanded a thoughtful design.
More than just a kitchen, the clients required a family-oriented living hub with a dining area tailored for entertaining.
Working with Simon, the Manager at our Barrowford showroom, provided total peace of mind. He spent time listening and meticulously exploring various layouts until the vision felt just right.
The result is a traditionally-styled kitchen filled with modern gadgets. The breathtaking Dark Blue Shaker cabinetry serves as a bold anchor, paired with light-toned units to accentuate the warmth of the timber beams and flooring.
