A night in with the football isn’t the same without delicious treats to go with it. Here at Kitchen Design Centre, we’ve come up with some mouth-watering ideas to help you celebrate in style!
This week sees our boys take on the Italians, so what better way to celebrate than with a pizza and pasta party? These dishes can easily be scaled up to feed a big crowd, and it’s rare to find anyone who’s not tempted by a sumptuous, cheese-covered pizza or a steaming bowl of spaghetti!
Here at Kitchen Design Centre, we’ve got an amazing range of designer kitchen appliances that will help you make light work of feeding an army of England fans. Our Neff ovens are brilliant for cooking pizza to perfection, while our Quooker boiling water taps will make quick work of fresh pasta.
Why not finish off with an authentic Italian-style coffee afterwards, too? We’ve got a stunning Neff Coffee Machine in store, which can make cappuccinos, espressos and lattes to perfection!
As England takes on Uruguay next week, you might be wondering what dishes to serve up. Well, fear not: Uruguayan cooking takes a lot of its inspiration from European countries like Spain and Italy, so it’s not hard to find something to your taste.
Pasta is a staple of the country’s cuisine, as is meat due to the abundant production of meat from its farming industry: a steak could be just the thing to feed your hungry football fans, and our Neff induction hobs will ensure it’s cooked just how they like it!
We couldn’t resist including this recipe, either: Uruguayan fried cakes, which are very similar to doughnuts, are a delicious option for dessert. Why not prepare them earlier and keep them warm for afterwards in a state-of-the-art Neff warming drawer?
On 24th June, we’re up against Costa Rica – but there’s no need to go up against the country’s delicious cuisine. Rice, fresh meat and vegetables, and plenty of beans, this flavourful national selection has something for everyone.
We love the idea of serving up a huge pan of Gallo Pinto with some of its traditional accompaniments: fried eggs, sautéed plantain and cheese. You could also combine a few ingredients to make a traditional Costa Rican chicken Casado. Our top-end kitchen appliances will make light work of even the most varied recipes, giving you plenty of time to sit down and enjoy the football as well.
If all this talk of cooking (and eating!) has got you hungering after some new kitchen appliances – or even a whole new kitchen! – why not pop along to Kitchen Design Centre?
