Come and see our stunning new display at the Colne kitchen showroom showcasing the very latest cutting-edge innovations, incorporating our new exciting range of Sensio lighting.
The new display aims to show that a white kitchen creates the impression of width and space.
“Good style is a matter of personal standards for all who value the quality of design. Our designer kitchens live up to these standards. With exceptional room concepts, straightforward lines and aesthetic convenience, form always follows function.”
White creates width and space for the imagination. This is what Designer Simon Thomas and his team at Colne Showroom have aimed to achieve on their new showroom display. Using a door with an ultra matt white finish, a stunning and fresh look has been created, with the addition of walnut panelling adding a warm and homely feel.
A seating/bar area promotes togetherness, and seamlessly flows into the practical cooking and preparation area. The base-unit pull-outs provide plenty of scope for the everyday storage needs while also creating a homely statement. Whether as storage solution or design element, it perfectly complements a modern living space.
Another highlight of the kitchen are the innovative brilliant white climber units. Automatic, and virtually soundless, the elegant glass climber slats open and close with sensor technology.
Shiny white Silestone (Blanco Zeus Extreme) worktops have been used. Silestone is made from natural Quartz and is an extremely versatile product. It has very high resistance to stains and scratches, and a low liquid absorption. The new display shows different ways of how Silestone can be used. 12mm thickness Silestone has been used on the food and preparation area leading to 100mm thickness at the seating/bar area.
A Blanco Silgranit under mount (Rock Grey) sink has been used to keep in with streamlined look. Silgranit is a stone like natural material that is scratch and stain resistant. It is also heat resistant up to 280°c.
Kitchen Design Centre opted for Quooker’s Nordic Square Twin taps, the larger of the two taps being a hot and cold mixer tap, and the smaller being an instant boiling water tap. It’s the only 100°c instant boiling water tap on the market.
NEFF appliances have been used throughout the kitchen to keep a modern and streamlined look. The set-up of ovens, which includes two ovens, a compact oven and a coffee machine provide a large cooking area. Each of the ovens offers a 67 litre capacity, whilst the compact oven can be used as a small oven, microwave and grill.
If there’s one space in the home where getting the lighting right is absolutely critical, it’s the kitchen. Here’s just one example of how Kitchen Design Centre’s new display LED lighting can make the ordinary look extraordinary.
A contemporary kitchen such as this is often best complemented by using ‘cool white’ LED lighting. Although the initial cost of LED lighting is higher, it lasts over 13 times longer than halogen, which significantly reduces the cost of replacement lamps, and electricity.
