We’re delighted to be welcoming in the New Year with fantastic news. Having entered the Neff Best Kitchen Awards last year, we recently found out that not one, but two of our kitchens were shortlisted as finalists!
Kitchen Design Centre’s Simon Thomas designed the kitchen that has been shortlisted in the Best Kitchen Over 20k category. Working closely with his clients, Simon was able to design a contemporary, practical and beautiful kitchen that did not disappoint. The open plan design included a sofa area, TV and media centre, drinks area and marvellous views of the family gardens. In fact, the new family living area has very much now become the heart of the home. Our second kitchen to be shortlisted falls in the Best Kitchen Under 20k category and proves that great designer kitchens can be affordable. Designed by our very own Maxine Hutchinson, Polly Din’s kitchen oozes style and wow factor. The vibrant kitchen, as described in the news item above, incorporates a riot of colour, casual eating space and plenty of storage. A number of fabulous appliances and unique features, such as the purple glass splash back, also help make the kitchen very special indeed.
The awards give public recognition to those Neff MasterPartners who’ve shown an extremely high level of professionalism in their work – which as you can imagine is a wonderful thing to be recognised for. Each and every one of our designers puts their all into listening to what their client wants and works hard to make a dream a reality.
We’re incredibly happy that our kitchens were recognised by NEFF and look forward to entering the competition again next year.

AWARD-WINNING KITCHENS FOR AN AWARD-WINNING DEVELOPER
As you may know if you’ve visited any of our showrooms in Manchester, Blackburn, Liverpool or Barrowford, we manage more than 250 kitchen projects each year here at Kitchen Design Centre. Many of these kitchens are for individual customers, but we also specialise in providing exceptional designer kitchens to housebuilders and developers. When Louise and Stuart renovated and extended their Wilmslow home they visited several local kitchen companies but were keen to get exactly what they wanted and researched companies with large showrooms located slightly further afield.
Kitchen Design Centre popped up on google and they were delighted to find that were open on a Sunday and that being located at Housing Units Failsworth, they were only a 20-minute drive away.
They were amazed by the showroom and how many full-size displays there were. They were equally impressed with Designer Paul Harrington who spent a great deal of time listening to what they wanted and going through various options and designs with them.

With a keen eye for design, Nicole knew the look she wanted and approached a local kitchen company. They came up with a range of designs but although there was nothing wrong with them, the couple felt that they would like an alternative design. They were already dealing with a lot of different companies for other rooms in the house and were reluctant to involve another but Anthony suggested they visited Rowan at Kitchen Design Centre Urmston to see if he could improve the design, and they were absolutely blown away with what he came up with.
