In last month’s news, we introduced two of our newest recruits, and this month sees the introduction of another. Lucy, who joined the team in Colne earlier this year, comes equipped with plenty of fantastic and inspirational ideas.
Having graduated from Cleveland College of Art and Design with a specialism in set design, it was clear Lucy had the talent and skill we were looking for. As at trainee designer she’ll be getting hands-on with all our kitchen designs, something she’ll be great at considering her experience. During her time at college she designed and dressed sets, working with a variety of spaces and sizes and delivering to a brief. This is of course very similar to what she’ll experience in the world of kitchen design.
So far, Lucy has been mainly helping out with 3D visuals for our clients and learning about all our kitchen styles and Neff appliances. Over the year, she’ll be learning even more about the kitchen design process as she goes on her journey to become a fully-fledged Kitchen Design Centre designer.
About her experience, Lucy says:
“I’ve already learnt so much about today’s styles and trends as well as the latest Neff appliances. Greys and citrus yellows seem to be a strong trend when it comes to colour schemes and natural materials like concrete are proving to be popular too.”
“I really enjoy learning new things, so I’m looking forward to what the future holds.”
