If you’ve visited the Blackburn kitchen showroom recently, you may have seen our stylish new kitchen display, designed by Will Hustler.
The new display has been catching the eye of many visitors to the showroom, with its sleek, contemporary feel and uninterrupted sightlines.
Our designer, Will, was inspired by German kitchen design – which led to the inclusion of features like a new laser door display, LED colour changing accent lighting, new cob ceiling lights, raised bar with LEDs and a lowered seating area using standard units. The kitchen also features a sleek handleless design – giving it a contemporary and minimalist finish.
The new display has a chic, neutral colour palette, with just a hint of spring yellow. We purposely chose to style the kitchen with neutral colours to let your imagination run wild – as you dream up your own perfect colour schemes. From monochromatic, to crisp whites with a dash of bold brights – just about any colour combination works in this modern kitchen.
Of course, our designs wouldn’t be complete without some innovative features in place and Will’s design certainly isn’t short on those. The kitchen features LED multifunction, Quooker twin taps and a Euro bin with separate compartments. A simple but stunning shelving area has also been incorporated into the design for functionality and style.
As you would expect, we’ve also chosen top-of-the-range NEFF appliances – ones we’d recommend for any modern home or newly designed kitchen. The fitted appliances include NEFF’s single oven, combi microwave, combi steam, flexi induction hob, dishwasher with cutlery tray and light as well as warming and accessory drawers – all must-haves for today’s modern kitchen and lifestyle needs. Together, the appliances make kitchen life easier, fun and add that clean, sharp finish to the overall look.

Simon Thomas - 25 years at Kitchen Design Centre!
On the 14th November 2000, Simon joined Kitchen Trade Centre, to start his career with us at the proposed new Colne showroom that he helped to fit out for its opening day in 2001. All these years later & a move to larger premises in Barrowford, he is still consistently designing fabulous kitchens, aspiring others in the company & leading by example as the top salesperson overall for the company.
25 years is an incredible milestone and impressive achievement to reach, and this is a true reflection of his dedication and commitment over the years. His knowledge and experience have made a huge difference to this company as a whole and it’s been great working alongside him and sharing his passion for what he does.
On behalf of the company, Simon has been given a bottle of Champagne & a voucher to help celebrate with as he chooses.
Thank you again Simon for all you have accomplished over the past 25 years, and to a few more successful years ahead.
