We’re always focused on helping you to shop safely here at Kitchen Design Centre, and our top priority is to make sure that you can feel safe and relaxed, allowing you to concentrate on the task of designing your dream kitchen!
As part of this, we’ve also launched our brand new Designed From Home Service, which lets you continue benefitting from the award-winning expertise and talent of our designers, without having to step a foot outside your own front door. Here’s a quick roundup of what we’ve been doing, and how we’re providing you with the peace of mind to ‘Shop Safely!’
We’ve always prided ourselves on being able to provide a highly personalised service here at Kitchen Design Centre. Partially because of this one-to-one nature, we’ve been able to adapt our service quite well to the age of social distancing, so that all of our customers and staff can have total peace of mind as we help you to realise every inch of your dream kitchen, down to the very last detail.
When you book in for a dedicated appointment at one of our showrooms, one of our award winning designers will be ready for you. We’ve made sure that our showrooms are equipped with all the health and safety essentials, such as hand sanitiser and Personal Protective Equipment at entrances and access points. These will be used by both customers and staff, allowing us to continue delivering the friendly, tailored service our customers have come to know and love – in which we answer your questions, discuss your inspiration and work with you to create a dream kitchen that’s totally unique to you.
Our Home Measure Service is a great opportunity for one of our designers to get acquainted with both you and your space, so we can design a dream kitchen that suits you down to the ground. When you book an appointment with us, we’ll come out to your home to measure up, find out about your lifestyle and personal requirements – including your likes and dislikes – and get an idea of how your space will work.
In the current climate, safety is naturally of paramount importance to us during every one of these home visits, so we’ll discuss the arrangements with you well in advance to make sure we’ll be able to conduct the visit in a way that minimises risk to everyone involved. (For example, we’ll check to make sure that nobody inside the house is exceptionally vulnerable or shielding, and give you plenty of notice for our arrival on the day.)
Your personal designer will also take care to stay two metres from you wherever possible, and will bring their own PPE – including hand sanitiser gel and disposable gloves – so that physical contact can be kept to a minimum.
This is a brand-new service we’ve recently launched here at Kitchen Design Centre, giving you new ways to connect with our award-winning designers so that you can take the next vital steps towards realising your own dream kitchen, without leaving the comfort of your very own home. Our Designed From Home Service encompasses everything from a phone call to discuss initial ideas, all the way through to more detailed video calls which allow your designer to get a better idea of your space.
Whether you prefer a pre-booked showroom appointment, a Home Measure appointment or our Designed From Home Service, your designer will also serve as your dedicated project manager throughout the process of creating your dream kitchen, providing you with a single point of contact from concept to completion.
As we mentioned above, our showrooms are currently open by appointment only, in accordance with government and local authority advice.
