Simone and Tom built their incredible home from scratch which enabled them to have the house of their dreams with everything exactly as they wanted. With a keen eye for design, Simone gave careful thought to the overall aesthetic, ensuring a seamless design flowed throughout the house. With light colours and an airy feel, the kitchen area, which has an adjoining orangery, forms a major part of the downstairs space.
Kitchen Design Centre and Suzanne were recommended to Simone by a friend who had a kitchen from the company over ten years ago and still loves it. From the minute Simone met Suzanne she knew she could work well with her which was important as she wanted a designer she could collaborate well with. Suzanne translated Simone’s ideas perfectly and came up with a range of fantastic ideas and design solutions.

With a large space allocated for the kitchen, Suzanne initially worked from plans and looked at a design featuring two islands. It soon became clear that one long island would work better and listening to what the family wanted, she created not only a beautiful kitchen but a practical one too that works for both everyday living and entertaining.
The ability to entertain was important to the family so Suzanne created an area specifically for drinks. She also included an ice trough in the island opposite and included a fabulous working pantry that closes to hide small appliances.
In keeping with the colour palette adopted throughout the house, the customer chose soft taupe cabinets with a contrast in Meteor Oxide. To create difference Suzanne incorporated a drop-down table detail with LED strip lighting.
To complement the Liebherr wine cooler, two Liebherr fridge freezers were chosen and Simone opted for a range of Neff appliances including Slide & Hide ovens, warming drawers, a combi microwave, two dishwashers and an induction hob. She also chose a Zip hydro tap.
The result is a stunning kitchen space that works perfectly in the home and suits everyone in the family. Practical, with everything Simone asked for, the space is ideal as a working kitchen but it also looks fantastic too.
