Joanne and John approached several kitchen companies for designs for their dream kitchen. After living in their barn for over 20 years, they decided to renovate and open up the front of the property with a glass extension to make the most of their stunning lake views.
The new kitchen space had to have an island and incorporate their Aga. They also wanted Neff appliances, having great confidence in the brand as their old kitchen had a Neff dishwasher that was 20 years old and still worked!
When it came to comparing all the designs from different kitchen companies there was no contest, with Designer Maxine Hutchinson’s from Kitchen Design Centre being their firm favourite. It was tailored to the space perfectly, making the most of the views and incorporating a stunning island and breakfast bar in one.
Joanne was also impressed with Kitchen design Centre’s Barrowford showroom which she found to be the best showroom in the area. She got lots of ideas from the various displays, in particular the wood effect breakfast bar and the separate larder fridge and freezer with stainless steel doors. She also liked the wide range of customer case studies on Kitchen Design Centre’s website.
Finished Kitchen
To make the most of the space and keep it light and airy, a white palate was chosen with a Hampton solid wood painted Taupe door and Grey Oak Grain cut panelling surrounding the tall units. Sparkling White Corian worktops were also selected. As a keen cook Joanne wanted Neff in addition to her Aga and chose a Flex induction Hob, Slide and Hide Oven, Warming Drawer, Integrated Dishwasher, Compact Oven with Microwave and a Neff Coffee Machine. A stunning built in Caple larder fridge and freezer and wine cooler completed the appliances.

When Louise and Stuart renovated and extended their Wilmslow home they visited several local kitchen companies but were keen to get exactly what they wanted and researched companies with large showrooms located slightly further afield.
Kitchen Design Centre popped up on google and they were delighted to find that were open on a Sunday and that being located at Housing Units Failsworth, they were only a 20-minute drive away.

With a keen eye for design, Nicole knew the look she wanted and approached a local kitchen company. They came up with a range of designs but although there was nothing wrong with them, the couple felt that they would like an alternative design. They were already dealing with a lot of different companies for other rooms in the house and were reluctant to involve another but Anthony suggested they visited Rowan at Kitchen Design Centre Urmston to see if he could improve the design, and they were absolutely blown away with what he came up with.
