As you may know if you’ve visited any of our showrooms in Manchester, Blackburn, Liverpool or Barrowford, we manage more than 250 kitchen projects each year here at Kitchen Design Centre. Many of these kitchens are for individual customers, but we also specialise in providing exceptional designer kitchens to housebuilders and developers. We have a particularly successful longstanding relationship with Candelisa, a prestigious Yorkshire-based property developer that is (like us) known for the peerless quality of its designs.
The company already has an impressive array of awards on its shelves, and its team have recently managed to secure their latest accolade: the Best High Volume New Housing Development at the prestigious LABC Awards!
In case you need a quick refresher, the LABC Awards are the largest business-to-business awards in the UK’s building control sector, aimed at celebrating and rewarding building projects, and the people behind them. The Best High Volume New Housing Development in question was Candelisa’s project at Countyfields, Embsay. Due to our strong relationship with the company (largely through Simon Thomas, the head of our Barrowford showroom), Kitchen Design Centre was chosen to deliver every kitchen at the Embsay development – and like Candelisa’s team, we’re hugely proud of the results.
Simon and our team of designers were brought in to provide a one-to-one service for each of Candelisa’s clients, drawing on decades of expertise to create a bespoke kitchen tailored to each tenant’s exact requirements.
As you may have seen from Candelisa’s social media, there are some fascinating variations between the individual designs, but there are plenty of popular features that many kitchens have in common, too. For example, the majority are immediately recognisable by their modern handleless style, as well as a range of cutting-edge technology from world-class manufacturers. Our excellent partnerships with leading industry brands include Hacker, Blanco, and Neff, several of whose ovens feature prominently in the final images.
Similarly, many of Embsay’s kitchens feature Neff’s sleek induction hobs, which heat cookware directly (this is typically faster and more energy-efficient than traditional ceramic hobs). Quooker taps also play a major role in many of our designs, providing hot, cold, and even boiling water at an instant’s notice.
And of course, these kitchens represent just a couple of examples of what we can achieve for our customers here at Kitchen Design Centre. We have all the resources, skills and in-house expertise we need to deliver outstanding kitchens on almost any scale – whether that’s a large-scale project like Candelisa’s, or a unique space designed with a specific individual or family in mind.
You can take a look through our case studies to find out more about the sorts of designs we’ve created for other customers over the years – we’ve been designing and delivering kitchens for around 40 years, giving us a huge wealth of experience and in-house expertise. So, if you’ve got some ideas about what you want from your dream kitchen (or even if you haven’t!), feel free to get in touch with our team. You can book a FREE showroom appointment at any of our locations in Manchester, Liverpool, Blackburn or Barrowford, and our designers will do the rest!
