To kick off 2014 our designers from each of our showrooms have created exciting new kitchen displays.
Following a trip to Hacker (Germany) our designers came back all inspired and raring to go and transfer their ideas into reality.
The stunning new kitchen display in Manchester is a contemporary kitchen with clean white and Portobello quartz counter tops and a large island perfect for big families looking to create an open space.
The new display incorporates a range of Neff products including a steam oven, combi oven, coffee machine, dishwasher and five-zone, energy-saving induction hob.
Designer Paul Harrington commented:
“More and more people are redesigning their homes with a view to incorporating the kitchen into the centre of family living.
“Our new display kitchen would fit very well into the hub of any home, bringing the kitchen to the forefront of daily life – and it’s also perfectly chic for entertaining.
“Our hope is to inspire visitors to Kitchen Design Centre with the blend of complementary colours and textures that have been brought together to create a unique, pure design.”
Over in our Blackburn designer kitchen showroom, the kitchen designers have opted for a classic shaker-style kitchen with a sleek, modern twist. This stunning new design incorporates eye-catching details such as glass-fronted cabinets, a repurposed railway sleeper and pelmets and cornices.
This traditional kitchen features state-of-the-art appliances and features including: ILVE range cooker, a Blanco sink, full-length mirrors and Barrique Oak panelling.
Natalie Birch, One of our designers from Blackburn commented:
“Previously, we’ve tended towards the more contemporary kitchens here in Kitchen Design Centre’s Blackburn showroom, but I actually think there’s been a bit of a revival when it comes to the cosy feel of a classic kitchen.
“We’ve opted for a real blend of modern and traditional in this new display kitchen – we’ve got some real vintage elements situated with cool, subtle shades of magnolia and beige grey which add a chic, current feel.
“There’s a touch of real individuality, too, with a repurposed railway sleeper used as a mantle above the cooker, and a gorgeous Perrin and Rowe tap that ties in with the discreet chrome handles and gives a tangible touch of class.”
The design team in our Colne kitchen showroom are putting together a cutting edge contemporary kitchen design. Keep an eye out on our blog for more information. In the mean time you can have a nosey at the visuals below:

STUNNING TRANSFORMATION
Our clients chose Kitchen Design Centre because they wanted a dedicated expert to lead the way, rather than a mere supplier of parts
They required a team to guide them from the first spark of an idea to the final finishing touches.
The brief presented a unique challenge – transforming a blank-canvas garage into a space that celebrated the charm of a traditional barn conversion. The room, featuring expansive wooden beams, demanded a thoughtful design.
More than just a kitchen, the clients required a family-oriented living hub with a dining area tailored for entertaining.
Working with Simon, the Manager at our Barrowford showroom, provided total peace of mind. He spent time listening and meticulously exploring various layouts until the vision felt just right.
The result is a traditionally-styled kitchen filled with modern gadgets. The breathtaking Dark Blue Shaker cabinetry serves as a bold anchor, paired with light-toned units to accentuate the warmth of the timber beams and flooring.
