At Kitchen Design Centre, we specialise in creating kitchens that are high quality, stylish, functional, and durable, using only suppliers that meet these requirements too.
If you’ve met with one of our designers, or visited our showrooms, you’ll know that German brand, Hacker, are one company who feature in many of our kitchen designs. Why? Because they are renowned for their design, reliability, commitment and success in the world of kitchens, complementing our big ideas and customer needs.
To see what 2015 and beyond held for Hacker kitchens, we decided to pay them a visit at their factory in Germany. The facility itself was rather impressive, a mecca for contemporary German kitchen design, and our tour revealed to the team the newest kitchen styles, doors and worktop ranges. One of the highlights of our annual tour had to be the extensive range of displays, which provided inspiration to all our designers, showing them how the new styles could be used and how they could work together. Simon Thomas, designer at our Colne kitchen showroom, even began to plan the new display for the Blackburn kitchen showroom whilst he was on the visit. Of course, the designs were inspired by the latest displays at the Hacker factory.
Will Hustler, our longest serving employee, based in the Blackburn showroom, was particularly impressed with the stunning stone effect range, which he could see fitting in perfectly with any contemporary home. Whilst the new Systemat range, caught John Crosby’s eye, one of our Manchester kitchen showroom designers. He particularly liked the modern edge of Systemat and the fact that the designs offered customers something really unique. Grace Davis, our newest kitchen designer and interior design graduate, had a real soft spot for the grey basalt doors and matching laminate worktops – which we’re sure you will see popping up in her work in the not to distant future!
Our visit to Hacker Germany has made us really excited about what’s to come in the world of kitchen design. There’s no doubt that we’ve returned from our visit totally inspired by the modern designs – which will be coming to kitchens near you very soon!
