Get all the taste, texture and flavour by opting for seasonal vegetables to spruce up your dish. Some of our favourites include artichokes, mushrooms and asparagus – which come together nicely for a seasonal pizza; broccoli and potatoes for the must-have roast; and oriental favorites of Chinese greens, kaffir lime leaves and pak choi for something a little special!
Just because it’s autumn, doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a yummy fruit salad. While berries may slowly begin to disappear this month, other classics, such as apples, grapes, bananas, mango and damsons are great options to choose from.
October is all about embracing rich, hearty flavours so you’ll find no light or bland meat in this month’s recipes. Beef, mutton, pork, veal and game meats are just some of our favourites, while halibut and lemon sole are great options when it comes to fish.

When Katherine and Andrew purchased their property, they always knew a full renovation would follow.
