They first approached John Crosby at Kitchen Design Centre in Failsworth with architect’s plans back in 2021. Fast forward two years and a lot of hard work and they now have a stunning Kitchen Design Centre Kitchen which has become the heart of their new home.
It was a visit to the Failsworth showroom that influenced the design of the kitchen. Both Glenn and Brenda liked the colours from a display and adopted all the elements: Laser Soft Pearl Grey units contrasting with Taupe, Organic White Quartz worktops and Light Summer Oak Wood accents. Top of their wish list was the inclusion of open shelves.

They wanted a defined area for display purposes and adopted the shelving idea from one of the displays, asking their builder to build a stud wall to encase the shelving and utilising the light summer oak wood that was used elsewhere in the design.
Appliances were important to the couple and after visiting a Neff roadshow at the Kitchen Design Centre showroom where they got to try a range of Neff appliances, they opted for a Neff Single Oven, Combi Microwave and an induction hob with built-in extractor that they liked from one of the displays. They also chose a Quooker Pro Flex tap in Chrome and as they wanted to keep an existing American Fridge Freezer, John worked this in to the design.
Glenn and Brenda are delighted with the finished kitchen and the whole Kitchen Design Centre team including the fitters. The kitchen is light, bright and inviting and works perfectly in their newly renovated home.

After years of imagining the potential hidden within their awkward layout, they finally decided to transform the space into something truly special.
