Living in Thornton-in-Craven near Skipton, it was only a 20-minute drive to the Barrowford showroom where they were impressed with the fantastic showroom and the wide range of displays. They met with designer Suzanne Ryan and loved her ideas.
Chris liked a traditional display in the showroom but Andrew wanted something more modern. They considered a sleek, modern, handle less look but after speaking to Suzanne and looking at a range of styles in the showroom, they decided a modern shaker style kitchen would suit their house perfectly.

A great deal of time was spent with Suzanne planning the layout, ensuring it made cooking practical and easy and that it suited their lifestyle. One of the main things on Chris’ wish list was an island with bar stools for casual dining. She wanted it as large as possible so that they could eat as a family with their two children and have plenty of space.
To make the most of the natural light in the room they chose a white and pearl grey kitchen with Quartz worktops. Chris also wanted Neff appliances having had them before, liking their performance and finding them easy to use. A fabulous offer at the time also meant they benefited from buying a range of Neff products.
Finished Kitchen
Despite their first visit happening just before the first national Coronavirus lockdown, Suzanne and Kitchen Design Centre delivered the kitchen with minimal hold ups and everything from design to installation continued in a safe way.
