As their house renovations progressed and they extended their home, they contacted Showroom Manager Paul Harrington and Kitchen Design Centre again to create a new bar and entertainment area behind the kitchen.
Their kitchen had featured in various magazines and been admired by family and friends. They were delighted with Paul and Kitchen Design Centre the first time so approaching them again to create the bar area was an easy decision.

Based on the same units and stunning unique colours, which included a textured gold green door and metallic elements, Paul devised a show stopping bar complete with separate drinks preparation area. The design really had the wow factor and from the 3D visuals, Andrea was immediately sold on the fabulous design and commissioned Kitchen Design Centre again to create this wonderful new space.
The bar complements the existing kitchen perfectly and makes the space between the old kitchen and the new open-plan living area flow. Andrea particularly loved Paul’s idea for a large mirrored splashback feature that incorporates metal shelving as a focal point above the bar. Paul also proposed a double Liebherr wine fridge in the run of tall units to the side. Andrea saw this on display in the kitchen Design Centre Failsworth showroom and loved it. This drinks area works perfectly in conjunction with the bar and the inclusion of a coffee machine means it offers a complete drinks preparation area in addition to the kitchen area.
The complete area flows perfectly with the kitchen sitting separately but next to the new bar and living area. This makes both family day-to-day living and entertaining larger groups a real joy.
Says Andrea, “we loved the kitchen and now we’ve added the bar and drinks area we love it even more. It’s everything we wanted and more. Kitchen Design Centre have been amazing again, they’ve brought my vision to life and created one perfect room.”

When Katherine and Andrew purchased their property, they always knew a full renovation would follow.
