A Sleek, High-End Contemporary Kitchen for a Manchester Home

Having worked with them four years ago in their previous home, they were so thrilled with the result that choosing them again was an easy decision.

Visiting the Urmston showroom, they were immediately inspired by the stunning displays and enlisted designer Rowan Chick to create a sleek yet functional space. They envisioned a monochrome palette to complement the ultra-modern aesthetic of their new home — a striking contrast to their previous more traditional navy and taupe kitchen.

With the help of the Urmston showroom’s extensive sample area, they chose a sleek graphite colour for a contemporary look, beautifully contrasted by Calacatta Aurum quartz worktops.

Kim was particularly drawn to the waterfall island showcased in the showroom, which became a key design feature and frames the bronze mirror beautifully. Working around a large bay window, Rowan skilfully crafted distinct zones within the kitchen, incorporating brand-new ribbed glass cupboards that serve as both a striking feature and a practical storage solution. A breakfast bar was also a must, seamlessly blending style and functionality in this beautifully reimagined space.

For appliances, they chose Neff, including double ovens, a microwave, and a venting hob, along with a Liebherr fridge freezer and a Blanco sink.

Kim and Paul were thrilled with the fitters, who delivered exceptional workmanship. They are once again delighted with Kitchen Design Centre and their stunning new kitchen, which fulfils their original brief and complements their beautiful home perfectly.
