They had no idea what type of kitchen they wanted but knew they needed both design help and a full project management service which would go from inception through to completion.
They felt in safe hands as soon as they met Paul at the Kitchen Design Centre showroom Failsworth showroom which is based at Housing Units. They found a great deal of inspiration in the showroom and even visited Kitchen Design Centre’s Urmston showroom where a particular monochrome display caught their eye and formed the basis of their finished kitchen.
Incorporating a large square island, the kitchen design makes the most of the stunning golf course views from the back of the house through the new bi-fold doors. Casual dining for four is available on one side of the island and the new Neff Downdraft hob is located on the other side, enabling sociable cooking and dining.
Neff appliances were selected throughout, including Slide and Hide ovens and a wine fridge. They also chose a Quooker tap. One feature they particularly love is the mirrored glass splashback that Paul suggested which works perfectly and bounces light through the kitchen.
The finished space is really striking and is the perfect addition to the open plan area. Graham and Paula are delighted with it and the whole Kitchen Design Centre team from Paul through to the fitters who did an excellent job.

The Kitchen Design Centre Barrowford is a stunning showroom that occupies three shops on the high street - 4, 5, and 6 Gladstone Terrace.
Mr and Mrs Lowcock recently visited the showroom when they were considering a new kitchen for their busy family home. Mr Lowcock has fond memories of visiting his father’s plumbing shop in 4 Gladstone Terrace, which made the visit quite nostalgic!
The couple chose a Hacker Ravenna Pearl Grey kitchen with bespoke Artista Grey Corian worktops. The main focus of the design was to brighten up the space by using better lighting and natural colors. The addition of practical appliances, including a Quooker boiling tap, made it easy for the multi-generational family to use the kitchen.
