When it came to replacing the kitchen in his own Ribble Valley home, our customer didn’t go anywhere else. He went straight to Kitchen Design Centre and Will Hustler at the Blackburn showroom.
Design was important and with a complex space with lots of doors, it needed consideration from an expert which is where Will came in. As a busy family, the space needed to accommodate formal and casual dining. Top of the family’s wish list was an island and Will came up with a contemporary design that worked perfectly in the space, allowing for both dining and entertaining.

Initially the family were concerned that such a different design to the one they had wouldn’t work but they were reassured with the realistic visual Will produced. They also liked how Will suggested a new colour scheme and lighter worktops. Unlike their old kitchen which had black granite work tops, Will went for completely the opposite. To complement the Uno Graphite units with channel handle, New Yarra white quartz worktops were chosen and the breakfast bar in vintage oak effect creates contrast in colour and texture.
Quality appliances were important to the customer and they are delighted with their suite of Neff appliances which include a Neff oven and warming drawer, combi microwave, fridge and freezer. They especially like the new Neff glass extractor which not only looks sensational but functions perfectly when cooking, removing all odours really quickly.
The kitchen has enhanced their home and the family spend a great deal of time in the space. They found the whole process from inception and their initial meeting with Will to completion with the fitters to be seamless and efficient and can’t praise Will or Kitchen Design Centre enough, “we love our new kitchen. It has totally transformed the space and enhanced how we use it. We’re really impressed with Will and the whole Kitchen Design Centre team. We picked them because of their reputation and design capabilities and they certainly lived up to it. The finished space not only looks fantastic but is functional too.”
