Katie and Graham knew replacing their kitchen would be a once in a lifetime project so they wanted a good quality, high-end product from an established, reputable kitchen company. Kitchen Design Centre offered both, together with a full project management service from start to finish which was really important to the couple.
Initially they shopped around but were reassuringly surprised with the quote they had back from Kitchen Design Centre, as Katie explains, “with the extra project management service that Kitchen Design Centre offered, their prices weren’t out of line with other companies and we got the project management service included.”
A visit to Kitchen Design Centre’s Blackburn showroom cemented their choice. They immediately warmed to designer Jenna Roberts and loved her enthusiasm, patience and design skills. Their brief to Jenna was to make the room flow with the others in the house and make it a space to entertain and have parties in.

Jenna worked on several designs and after initially discounting the first design, the couple eventually chose that one, “ the design was so different to what we had that we said no when Jenna first showed us but when we thought about the space and she explained why she’d gone with that design we fell in love with it.”
They loved the blush and rose gold colours that were worked in to the overall white colour scheme in the kitchen. Contrasting with the Laser brilliant white units and Calcutta Neptune Quartz worktops were open boxes in Rose.
Katie continues, “I wanted a minimal look which Jenna achieved. I loved how she kept the space clutter-free by creating hidden areas for the appliances like the kettle and toaster so they weren’t on show. The design was so personal to us too – Jenna even created a litter tray section for our cat.”
Finished Kitchen
Katie had always wanted Neff and Jenna incorporated her wish list of Neff appliances which included a Neff Oven, Combi Microwave Oven, Warming drawer, Hob, Dishwasher and Fridge Freezer. Katie and Graham have since enjoyed the Neff cooking demonstrations in the Blackburn showroom which have enabled them to get the very best from the appliances and create some delicious dishes using features such as the steam setting of the oven.
The opposite side of the kitchen features areas for entertainment and storage which is perfect for when Katie and Graham want to entertain and host parties.
The family are delighted with the new kitchen and can’t speak highly enough of Kitchen Design Centre from Jenna to the fitters.
