Modern Living Space Kitchen Style For Our Customers In Frodsham

Timeless, contemporary style and top-end Neff appliances came together to create the Waring’s kitchen of their dreams.

With a dream of an open plan living space, the Warings from Frodsham decided to completely redesign the whole of their ground floor by knocking the living room and kitchen into one.

Kitchen Plan

To add to this, the couple also opted for an Orangery, to be built at the end of their house, allowing natural light to flood into their living space. “Our old kitchen was getting dated and we fancied making some changes to our home,” says Mrs. Waring from Frodsham. “It made sense to get the experts in to redesign our kitchen alongside all the other work we were getting done,” she adds.

Finding the right people for the job was easy. Having had Kitchen Design Centre recommended to them by friends, the Warings travelled to visit their nearest showroom – and it certainly didn’t disappoint. “We’d visited a few kitchen specialists but Kitchen Design Centre stood apart from the rest,” says Mrs Waring. “The quality of all their materials and furnishings was excellent and the designers were happy to create a bespoke design to meet our family needs. Nothing was too much trouble,” she explains.

Like many of our clients, the Warings from Frodsham didn’t necessarily dislike anything about their current kitchen, they just wanted to refresh its look and tie it into their new floor plan. “While everything was fine, it all needed to be updated a little, especially our appliances – they weren’t the best!” laughs Mrs. Waring. To replace their old appliances, the couple invested in top quality Neff products including the CircoTherm Slide & Hide Single Oven, the Compact 1000W Microwave Oven, a Fully Integrated Dishwasher and Built In Fridge Freezer, as well as the 90cm Flexinduction Hob. They also opted for a Quooker tap and wine cooler – necessities for modern day easy living.

Of course, the couple’s kitchen was about so much more than technology. Good design and style played a huge role in the Waring’s kitchen ideals – hence their choice of a contemporary German style kitchen. “We knew we wanted a modern style kitchen and had some ideas with regards to the layout, but Paul, our designer, helped us out with the rest,” says Mrs Waring.

While the couple knew they were going to go against the tradition of the kitchen triangle layout, they were overwhelmed with choice when it came to the finer ideas. “It was a struggle to whittle down all the options but Paul guided us through the process and advised us wherever possible,” explains Mrs Waring. “While I originally thought I’d want a gloss finish to the cabinetry, Paul suggested we choose a timeless matte finish in a modern, yet safe, basalt grey colour. I’m so glad we followed his recommendations,” she adds. The worktops fitted were 50mm thick with square edges in cameo white. To complement this, laser soft satin matt cupboards were fitted in basalt grey and white.

The Warings from Frodsham tell us: “We were really impressed with Kitchen Design Centre and would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone.” “They were so professional and their attention to detail was impressive. While they may not have been the cheapest kitchen specialists out there we feel we got great value for money. What’s more, the aftercare we’ve received has been outstanding. They still send us updates and invites to events and keep us in the loop with everything.”

"We adore our new kitchen. Everyone that visits says ‘wow’."

What Our Designer Says

"We created a contemporary space using modern colours while maintaining full functionality and a homely feel. The Warings from Frodsham had their own ideas when it came to the layout and style of the kitchen and it was great working together with the couple, helping them get their desired result."

"I’m really happy with the space – it’s great for the master chef as well as the rest of the family who might just prefer to sit back and relax."

AWARD-WINNING KITCHENS FOR AN AWARD-WINNING DEVELOPER

As you may know if you’ve visited any of our showrooms in Manchester, Blackburn, Liverpool or Barrowford, we manage more than 250 kitchen projects each year here at Kitchen Design Centre. Many of these kitchens are for individual customers, but we also specialise in providing exceptional designer kitchens to housebuilders and developers. We have a particularly successful longstanding relationship with Candelisa, a prestigious Yorkshire-based property developer that is (like us) known for the peerless quality of its designs.
The company already has an impressive array of awards on its shelves, and its team have recently managed to secure their latest accolade: the Best High Volume New Housing Development at the prestigious LABC Awards!
In case you need a quick refresher, the LABC Awards are the largest business-to-business awards in the UK’s building control sector, aimed at celebrating and rewarding building projects, and the people behind them. The Best High Volume New Housing Development in question was Candelisa’s project at Countyfields, Embsay. Due to our strong relationship with the company (largely through Simon Thomas, the head of our Barrowford showroom), Kitchen Design Centre was chosen to deliver every kitchen at the Embsay development – and like Candelisa’s team, we’re hugely proud of the results.

Latest case study now live incase you missed it.

With a keen eye for design, Nicole knew the look she wanted and approached a local kitchen company. They came up with a range of designs but although there was nothing wrong with them, the couple felt that they would like an alternative design. They were already dealing with a lot of different companies for other rooms in the house and were reluctant to involve another but Anthony suggested they visited Rowan at Kitchen Design Centre Urmston to see if he could improve the design, and they were absolutely blown away with what he came up with.
