We’re proud of every kitchen we design for that reason alone, selecting the kitchens to feature in our look back at 2019 was no easy task! All of our kitchens are fantastic, if we do say so ourselves, however there was something extra special about these kitchen designs.
These kitchens have distinguished themselves in an impressive crowd with their impressive features, awe inspiring settings or the unique stories behind them. Let’s take a look!
This kitchen is a perfect example of an aesthetically pleasing and functional space that incorporates existing period features. It was part of a particularly impressive barn conversion and had stone flagged flooring and feature wooden beams that the owners wanted incorporated into the design.
Initially the couple wanted a traditional style, but after seeing how our expert designer Maxine incorporated a handleless modern take — the couple fell in love!
Maxine was able to incorporate strong copper features with a dark colour palette to create a warm, functional industrial style kitchen.
A Trawden couple were underwhelmed by the solutions provided by competition, they came to Kitchen Design Centre where designer Suzanne surprised them. The kitchen required clever planning and an efficient design that used up every inch of available space.
Suzanne recommended tall cupboards opposite the window to create more storage and room for more worktop space. The result of the challenging brief is a small but perfectly formed kitchen!
We’re no strangers to large projects, and can jump into a project at any stage of the process. In this Oldham kitchen, sailor Kevin was ‘on board’ with a major renovation (double extension) for his home!
He needed an expert kitchen design company to step in and give advice on the space, using only the breeze block shell as a reference. Our design expert Roger visited the site and was able to give advice on the space, showing a deep knowledge and appreciation for the scope of the project.
Roger cleverly added additional bulk heads and mirrored elements throughout the design to give the space a cohesive look and feel. The result is a stunning, modern open-plan kitchen in shades of grey.
The headline says it all! A Barrowford couple originally had no intention of replacing their kitchen, but as the couple strolled past the showroom with their dog — everything changed.
The couple was blown away with the stunning window displays and then toured the showroom, where they fell in love with one of the traditional style kitchens. They were particularly interested in the classic shaker style door, copper handles, wine cooler, boiler tap, integrated bin, and the stunning feature lights.
Suzanne, our experienced designer, worked closely with the couple to create a new design around existing appliances, and suggested they remove an internal wall to create an open plan kitchen.
The couple liked the realistic visuals and the rest, as they say, is history! And that’s how a dog walk can lead to your dream kitchen.
A Barrowford couple were looking for a new kitchen complete with ample storage, the best high-end appliances, and plenty of clever features. Their search for the perfect kitchen company quickly ended once they visited Kitchen Design Centre.
As keen cooks and bakers, the couple were looking for a long list of specifications to help the space better reflect their requirements. They needed storage for small kitchen appliances, a place to store spices, and clever solutions integrated.
Our designer Simon is never short on ideas, incorporated many innovative solutions into the design including a wireless charging area for the couple’s phones.
The result of excellent planning and creativity resulted in a beautiful classic kitchen with modern accents and innovative features. What more could you need?
A Manchester couple wanted a perfect blend of traditional and contemporary kitchen styles. The tricky part was finding a designer that could translate their ideas into a unique, dream kitchen!
Enter our designer John, who was recommended by the couple’s architect. After the first meeting they knew he was the one for the job. The couple wanted a space that was suitable for everyday living and for entertaining larger groups. John was able to create a shaker kitchen with a modern edge that featured shaker style cabinets with high-tech appliances to create a cohesive space.
